I recently did a path working on the Qabalah, experiencing the ten sephiroth on the Tree of Life, in the world of Assiah (the material world).
Here are some of my experiences.
Malkuth
I saw how the elements were linked, for example fire needs air, water can put out fire, earth needs water to remain moist. I also saw how all the elements could also be destructive.
Yesod
I kept being confronted with lots of images of myself in a hall of mirrors, and had to pick the right one to continue.
Hod
I saw philosophers in ancient Greece debating and discussing, and had to climb a tower to leave. Then the tower was destroyed before I made it all the way up. In one of the bricks from the wreckage I found plans to build a tower that would let me escape.
Netzach
I fell into a pit, and was nearly torn apart by a monster, but an angel rescued me.
Tiphareth
I entered the sphere and saw a stormy black sky. I turned around to see a horrible creature with lots of eyes, then the creature unzipped itself to reveal inside the suit, a young king. The king then showed me a figure on a cross, being torn apart and eaten by a vulture. The king said I also must be crucified, I said "no", and I then dropped down a long pit into some water, and found the way out to the path to take me to Geburah.
Geburah
Here a king on a throne was laughing at a naked man being tortured and then branded with a mark. I then went through a long dark corridor where snakes kept trying to bite me, to find my way to the path to take me to Chesed.
Chesed
Here a king was at the top of a palace tower, showing me all the land and good things he owned. He then put his crown on my head, and said all these things were mine, if only I would believe it. For some reason I wanted to escape (or take a shortcut), so I used a rope to climb out of the tower, but then found myself back in the water I was in at Tiphareth, and I felt a voice telling me, there is no way back to Chesed, without retracing my steps through Tiphareth and Geburah again.
Back to Tiphareth
I found my way very easily out of the waters of Tiphareth, and took the path to Geburah.
Back to Geburah
When I entered this time, the king was expecting me and had one of his soldiers throw me to the floor and whip me, causing stripes to appear on my back. I kept saying to stop, eventually the king gave orders for the man to stop beating me. i got up and the king embraced me, saying "well done, son". This time when I walked through the corridoor to leave, no snakes bit me.
Back to Chesed
This time when I entered Chesed, the king said, "Welcome back"!
I asked the king for a sign or sigil. I could use to access my status as a wealthy ruler (he had again put the crown on my head). He told me all I needed was the sign of the "open hands" (I drew a sigil from this, which was buried during an Autumn Equinox ritual). This time I left by a proper door in the tower, ready to continue, and the king smiled and waved as I left.
Back to Tiphareth
*Note: You will notice on the tree there is no direct route from Chesed to Binah, you have to go through Tiphareth first.*
This time, the majestic king who was before crucified, drew his sword, and said he could only die once for me. This time it was my turn to die myself. I was torn apart by horrible bird like creatures. I then again dropped into some water at the bottom, but this time it appeared to be gold in colour, and so was I. This time the exit was egyptian looking, and when I emerged onto the path, I was dressed as a Pharaoh.
Binah
Here I saw a female version of the grim reaper, laughing at me, she then chopped off my head with her scythe. I reached down stumbling around, looking for my head, and put it back on again! After putting my head back on, Medusa appeared, I looked at her, and turned to stone. The reaper figure then laughed at me and said, even though I have eyes I see nothing. She pointed to a hideous figure covered in eyes, and said "he has plenty of eyes, but he's still a stupid demon"! Next I saw a mature lady, breast feeding a baby. She asked if I too would like to taste of this true spiritual milk, so I let her feed me too. After being fed I realised that to live is to face death everyday, born into a fragile body.
I was looking for an exit, but all I could see was a series of holes, and the reaper said it was impossible to travel on from here in the physical body. So I took off my body like a coat, and travelled on from there as a swirling mass of energy to Chokmah.
Chokmah
Here I was constantly repelled by forces coming from a large blue ball in the centre. The blue ball was also sending blasts of energy out of the sphere, to be clothed with form at Binah I presumed. There were two guards at the exit who asked for a password. I didn't know it. A smartly dressed man in a suit then came over and said "I'm sorry sir, but we can't let you through without a password". I then knew this was a trick, I said there are no passwords, passwords are a human invention, and they let me through.
Kether
All I could see here was a sticky white substance everywhere. I kept searching around for anything I could find in here, but there was nothing. Eventually I fell down a very long pipe, I saw, going past me as I fell down it, people and places, seasons and elements. Finally I reached the bottom, and found myself standing on a beach. I was then shown a mine in a guided tour (but very briefly).

History of The Devil
An excellent documentary that explains the evolution of the concepts of hell, the devil, and how these were taken by the judeo-christian traditions from other religions.

Satanism and The Left Hand Path - The Truth
There is a lot of rubbish talked about Satanism both by the media, and "trendy" satanists who have no idea what satanism really is (they claim to be satanists but quickly dissapear when you ask them questions relating to basic satanic concepts), the left hand path, to become your own god, the path of logic and sober self interest.
This is a few years old, but still a very good interview by a member of the Temple of Set, a satanic order, explaining what satanism really is (and isn't), and answers many of the common questions that people ask.
